Fairfield forecast: Sunny day, cooling temps

Even though skies will be mostly sunny today across southwestern Connecticut, the high temperature won't reach the balmy, mid-50s range it did yesterday.
The National Weather Service predicts today's high temperature will be about 10 degrees colder -- the mid-40s -- than yesterday, with a west wind between 5 and 9 mph.
Tonight, the NWS says, there is a slight chance of showers after 10 p.m. Cloudy skies will gradually clear later and the overnight low temperature will be about 30 degrees.
Tomorrow should be mostly sunny, with a high in the mid-40s. Overnight, there is a slight chance of snow showers as the temperature to a low in the upper-20s.
Monday is expected to be sunny, with a high in the upper-30s. Nighttime skies will be mostly cloudy, with a low in the upper-20s.
The outlook for Tuesday, the weather service predicts, is for partly sunny condition, with temperatures reaching a high in the mid-40s.
