Spring's nearly a week old, but the high temperatures today and over the weekend won't be very seasonal, according to the National Weather Service.

Skies across southwestern Connecticut will be sunny, with the temperature expected to rise only to about 40 degrees, the NWS says.

Clouds move in tonight and the temperature will fall to about 22 degrees.

Tomorrow will also be sunny and cold, with a high temperature of about 39 degrees. There will be a northwest wind around 14 mph. Nighttime temperatures will again fall to about 22 degrees.

Sunday should be partly sunny, with a high near 40, the NWS says.

And Monday will also be sunny, with a high temperature only in the low-40s, the weather service predicts.
