The stretch of unseasonably warm weather for southwestern Connecticut continues today, carried across the region with gusty winds.

Early-morning clouds will gradually clear, the National Weather Service says, as the temperatures rise to the upper-50s. The breezy conditions of a west wind 7 to 10 mph will increase to between 17 and 20 mph, and gusting as high as 31 mph.

Overnight, rain is likely as the temperature falls to the upper-30s, as the wind calms to between 7 and 10 mph from the east.

Tomorrow begins on a rainy note, the NWS says, as the temperature rises to a high of about 50 degrees wit an east wind 11 to 16 mph, then becoming north. A chance of rain continues tomorrow night, primarily before 9 p.m.

Saturday should be partly sunny, with a high near 45 degrees. It will be breezy again, with a west wind between 16 and 25 mph, gusting as high as 36 mph. Nighttime will be mostly clear, with a low around 26 degrees.

The outlook for Sunday, the weather service predicts, calls for sunny skies, with a high temperature near 42 degrees.
