Fairfield forecast: Work week starts on bright note

Despite a fairly heavy cloud cover early today, sunny skies are expected to prevail for the rest of the day, according to the National Weather Service.
The daytime high temperature should be about 62 degrees in southwestern Connecticut, with a north wind between 7 and 16 mph.
Tonight should also be mostly clear, with the temperature falling to a low around 46.
Tomorrow will be mostly sunny, the NWS says, with a high near 66. The wind will be from the north wind at between 13 and 15 mph. Nighttime will be cloudy and the low temperature should be about 49 degrees.
Wednesday also is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 63.
And, the weather service predicts, Thursday should follow a similar pattern: sunny with a high near 67 degrees.
