Christopher Davies, 20, of 324 Oakwood Drive, was twice arrested in the past three days for his role in two domestic disputes, police said.

He was charged in the first incident about 4 p.m. Sunday following a physical argument with an ex-girlfriend, police said. The dispute apparently started after Davies was angered by a text message he found on the woman's cell phone.

He was charged in that incident with third-degree assault, second-degree threatening, breach of peace, and unlawful restraint. He was released on a written promise to appear Wednesday in Bridgeport Superior Court.

The second incident occurred about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday when Davies got into an argument with his mother and grandfather, police said, and allegedly punched and kicked down a section of fencing and ripped a phone cord off the receiver. The dispute reportedly started when Davies was asked by his family to move his car.

He was charged in that incident with disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, and interfering with an emergency call. He was released on a written promise to appear Wednesday in Bridgeport Superior Court.
