A Fairfield man is among 18 people charged last week in a statewide sweep that culminated a lengthy State Police investigation into child pornography.

David Dembosky, 37, of Hunyadi Avenue was charged with promoting a minor in an obscene performance and first-degree possession of child pornography.

He was released after posting a $50,000 bond. He will be arraigned April 14 in Bridgeport Superior Court.

Dembosky and the 17 others was charged after detectives from the State Police Computer Crimes Unit, assisted by members of the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations and Sex Offenders Unit, executed arrest warrants March 27.
