FAIRFIELD — Police say a Bridgeport man took delivery of a package with over three pounds of PCP, a powerful hallucinogen.
Giraud Dickson, 33, was arrested Monday and charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell and possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school.
During an investigation, detectives intercepted a parcel containing the PCP that was being delivered to a business on Kings Highway, where Dickson worked as a courier. Once it was delivered, Dickson took the package and left the business. He was stopped by police a short time later as he tried to get into his car and leave the area.
Dickson, who lives on Barnum Avenue, was held on a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Bridgeport Feb. 9.
