The Connecticut Dance School will present two performances of "The Nutcracker" on Sunday, Dec. 11 at Fairfield University's Quick Center for the Arts.

Shows are scheduled for 1 and 4 p.m.

The Fairfield nonprofit school's productions will feature more than 100 students, ranging in age from six to seventeen and representing many communities around the state, the school said in a news release.

Alan Woodard, the school's director, has choreographed, cast, coached and staged "The Nutcracker" for the past 18 years, the school said. Each year the production employs new elements of choreography, costumes and scenery.

Tickets are $40 for adults; $25 for seniors, children and students. They may be reserved by calling the Quick Center Box Office at 203-254-4010 or online: (click "Buy Tickets").
