There's a chance of snow flurries later this morning, according to the National Weather Service, but no accumulation on this first full day of winter.

The day in southwestern Connecticut is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 37 degrees. A north wind will clock in at about 9 and 11 mph.

Clouds will continue to cover the region tonight, and the temperature will fall into the mid-20s.

Tomorrow should be mostly sunny, with a daytime high in the mid-30s. It will be breezy, too, with the north wind picking up to between 18 and 21 mph. Monday night will be clear, the NWS says, with a low of about 25 degrees.

Tuesday also is expected to be sunny, with the top temperature about 36 degrees.
