Fairfield weather: Gray day -- fog, clouds, showers
Fog is blanketing southwestern Connecticut this morning, gradually fading around noontime and leaving behind cloudy skies with a chance of showers.
The fog is dense in some areas, and the National Weather Service warns that visibility will be sharply limited.
The daytime high temperature today is expected to be in the mid-40s.
Showers remain a possibility tonight, which could even mix with light snow after 8 p.m. The low temperature will fall into the mid-20s and the wind will be from the northwest wind between 11 and 17 mph.
Tomorrow should be sunny, according to the NWS, with a high near 35. Winds are expected to be between 15 and 17 mph. Monday night will see increasing clouds, with a low around 27.
On Tuesday, there is a slight chance of snow showers after noon. The day will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 38.
And Wednesday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 37 degrees.
