Melissa McMillan, of Ronald Drive, was charged last Friday with illegally obtaining a prescription drug after dropping off a fake prescription at CVS Pharmacy, 1968 Black Rock Turnpike.
The pharmacist, allegedly familiar with McMillan, became suspicious of the prescription and called the Greenwich doctor's office listed. It was determined the prescription for Ambien was falsified.
When McMillan, who misrepresented herself as the doctor's assistant, returned to the pharmacy, she was in the passenger seat of a friend's vehicle at the pharmacy's drive-through window.
Police officers already on scene pulled over the vehicle and arrested McMillan.
She was released on a promise to appear Monday in Bridgeport Superior Court.
