Falcon wrestlers win three matches at Ludlowe Duals
The Fairfield Ludlowe wrestling team won three matches to take third at the Ludlowe Legend Duals on Saturday at Fairfield Ludlowe High School.
Ludlowe defeated Hall 33-32, East Hartford 42-30 and Bridgeport Central 78-6. The Falcons had some very big performances in their close match against Hall. Peter Clark (125) won a 4-3 decision by scoring a takedown right in the final seconds of the match. Ben Brzoski (152) won his match, the last against Hall, 6-5 to give the Falcons the victory. Ludlowe was led by Will Matson (140) who went 4-1 with two pins and Eric Kirchgasser (112) also had four wins and three pins. Ben Batulanon (103) and Nick Catlin (130) each had three wins with two pins. Clark also recorded two wins and a pin for Ludlowe.

Trumbull won all five of its matches to win the tournament. NFA went 4-1 on the day and took second. Hall finished fourth, East Hartford was fifth and Bridgeport Central finished sixth.
