The 30th annual Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival has raised $375,900 for St. Vincent's Special Needs Services.

Festival representatives this week gave a check to board members and employees of the Trumbull-based nonprofit facility focused on helping people with special needs, according to a news release. The funds will go towards the facility's goal of building a therapeutic pool for the place, said Chief Executive Officer and President Raymond G. Baldwin.

The festival's inaugural year in 1981 raised $12,500, said Carol Timpanelli, a festival board member. Since then, over $3 million has been raised for at least 90 local nonprofits.
