Frederick "Fred" T. Kish Sr., 70, of Fairfield, died Aug. 29 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport.

Born Jan. 14, 1941, in Norwalk, he served in the U.S. Air Force as an assistant crew chief, Refueling Division, stationed in Bangor, Maine.

He was employed by Sears for 48 years as a service technician.

Survivors include his wife, Erna; a son Frederick Kish Jr. of Fairfield; daughters Stephanie of Trumbull and Deborah of Raleigh, N.C.; a granddaughter, Morgan Kish, and siblings, Beverly Pavlik of Norwalk, James Kish of Ridgefield and Kathy Stroffolino of Queechee, Vt.,
