The Lions Gate Trio will perform a free chamber concert of works by Beethoven, Dvorak and Elena Kats-Cherbin on Sunday, April 1 at the Fairfield Public Library, 2080 Old Post Road.

The acclaimed ensemble will perform at 1 p.m. in the library's Memorial Room. The group includes pianist Florence Millet, violinist Katie Lansdale and cellist Darrett Adkins.

Seating is limited and the library urged those interested to register early.

Selections include Beethoven's Trio

Op. 79, No. 2 in E flat major, Dvorak's

Trio No. 1 in B flat major and a new composition by the Isaeli-Australian composer Kats-Cherbin, Gypsy Ramble.

The Lions Gate Trio this year is the trio in residence at the library and at the University of Hartford's Hartt School of Music.
