A workshop on how to identify the best customers and how to do the research required to understand them will be offered on Thursday, March 6, at 7 p.m. in the Rotary Room of the Fairfield Public Library main branch, 1080 Old Post Road.The free program is part of the library's Small Business Strategies series.

Two business advisers from the Service Corps of Retired Executives will discuss how to prioritize hot, qualified leads and separate them from potential clients who are merely "tire-kickers."

Dina Maison is a growth-strategy specialist, certified management consultant and the Greater Bridgeport Chapter of SCORE's vice chairman for business education. James Hisey II is a consulting executive who has worked with Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Mobile Oil and Woods End Productions.
