FAIRFIELD — Putting the fun into a fundraiser, The Greenfield Hill Grange held a square dance Saturday night to help raise funds for restoration work on its 120-year-old building.

Couples shared refreshments , reels and do-si-dos to the calls of a dance instructor, accompanied by fiddler and keyboard.

Along with hoping to repair its gutters and downspouts, the oldest agricultural society in the U.S. is also looking for new members interested in organic farming, beekeeping and socializing with other patrons of husbandry.
