Two New Jersey young men were charged with first-degree criminal trespass after they were found on the Fairfield University campus around 11 a.m. Saturday.
They had already been warned about staying off school grounds, and were escorted off the campus earlier that morning by security. According to the report, they had the notices given to them at that time in their pockets.
Charged were Benjamin Jacobs, 20, and Christoph Danckwerth, 19, both of Glen Rock, N.J. They told police they had no money for a hotel and were issued misdemeanor summonses and escorted off campus for a second time.
They are scheduled to appear Oct. 29 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
