Ever wonder how much it costs to run that microwave or flat-screen television?
Now you can find out with help from the Clean Energy Task Force and the Fairfield Public Library.
A "Kill A Watt" device will be available to be borrowed from both the main and branch libraries beginning Feb. 15.
The easy to use measuring device can help homeowners determine the energy cost of operating many of their home appliances.
Plug the "Kill A Watt" into an outlet and plug the appliance into the device and "Kill A Watt" will give the energy use per hour.
The device is available at the front desk of both libraries.
