It's getting to be a habit. Once again I find myself clamoring to offer public praise to Sen. Chris Murphy. This time it's for his bold, courageous, outspoken, on-the-money opinion stated in a terse controversial Twitter message following the San Bernardino terrorist killings.

Sen. Murphy perfectly summed it up in just a few tweeted words. He effectively blasted criticism at politicians who are quick to offer thoughts and prayers after incidents of gun violence, but because they are bought and intimidated by the NRA, their inaction on gun regulation legislation perpetuates easy access to weapons of mass killing in our nation, as they continually allow the abuse of the Second Amendment to justify their fecklessness that's enabling the carnage.

Keep up the good work, Chris.
