Memo to Richard Ross [Letters, March 21, "Republican attacks on women's rights"]:

I am a woman, and I do not have my head in the sand. My eyes are wide open, and I can spot BS a mile away. This so called "War on Women" is utter nonsense.

This is about wanting Catholics to abandon their faith as a false religion and letting the government be my guide in religious matters.

Three cheers for Cardinal Dolan of New York and Archbishop Lori of Bridgeport for their courage to speak out against this unjust and unfair treatment of Catholics.

And to pick up on Mr. Ross' allusion to the Helen Reddy song, I am woman, and you will hear me roar in November at the polls.
