Local developer, wife, get into argument in condo parking lot
FAIRFIELD — A local developer, convicted felon and former Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim cohort and his wife were charged by police after an argument in the parking lot of the Stone Ridge Condominiums Saturday morning.
According to the police report, the couple is estranged and Kimberly Lenoci, 53, went to the condominium after Alfred Lenoci, 55, hadn’t returned home for three days. She had apparently gotten a phone call about an order of $15,000 worth of furniture for the condo.
When officers arrived, they found Alfred Lenoci leaving the parking lot in his car, his wife on foot at the parking lot’s exit.
A witness told police there were two women in the parking lot with suitcases that they were putting into Alfred Lenoci’s car. Kimberly Lenoci helped them with the luggage and then tried to get into car but Alfred Lenoci was trying to keep her out. Alfred Lenoci allegedly grabbed Kimberly Lenoci’s cell phone and ran away. Kimberly Lenoci then got into the driver’s seat, but her estranged husband allegedly pulled her hair.
Alfred Lenoci told the police that he is trying to adopt the two women, 21 and 23 years old, who he said are from Slovakia. He denied taking his wife’s cell phone.
Alfred Lenoci gave his address as Stone Ridge Way, while Kimberly Lenoci lives on Tuckahoe Road in Easton. Both were released on a promise to appear in state Superior Court in Bridgeport July 24.
