Born in Westport, she was the daughter of the late Frank Sr. and Erminia Veno, and a longtime Fairfield resident.
She was the founder and owner with her husband of the Artist's Pub Steak and Seafood Restaurant in Westport from 1969-79 and then established Ramons Restaurant in Southbury, which the couple operated from 1979-82.
She enjoyed playing bingo at St. Emery's Church, as well as knitting.
Survivors include a sister, Marie Reitano of Fairfield; her sisters-in-law, Lorraine Veno of Fairfield and Marie Veno of Westport; nephews and nieces, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her five brothers, Joseph, Nicholas, Frank, Andrew and Dino.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Fairfield. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Westport.
