A young man and his ex-girlfriend both were arrested Thursday night following a domestic dispute in the Round Hill Road commuter parking lot.
Epstein also was charged with interfering with an emergency call and second-degree unlawful restraint.
Epstein and Bell recently ended a relationship, the report said, but he picked her up at her home to go together to visit a friend at the Fairfield Motor Inn. Epstein allegedly became angered when Bell engaged in a cell phone conversation with someone during the ride, and Epstein pulled into the commuter lot.
According to the report, Bell's elbows, wrist and face were bruised and her face scratched. Epstein sustained scratches to his face, chest and neck.
Epstein was assigned a $250 bond and Bell was released on a promise to appear. Each was scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court today.
