A Bridgeport man police said was involved in commercial burglaries and a gas station robbery was arrested on warrants last Friday at Bridgeport Superior Court.
Andrew F. Remick, 23, of Garfield Avenue in Bridgeport, was charged with one count each of first-degree robbery and fifth-degree larceny for the Aug. 27 holdup at the Mobil station on Stratfield Road. Though no weapon was shown, he indicated he had a gun, according to the report.
He was also charged with two counts of third-degree burglary and one count each of fourth- and fifth-degree larceny in connection with burglaries in August at Mancuso's Restaurant on Kings Highway East and at O'Hara's salon on Black Rock Turnpike.
Remick was seen on surveillance video at Mancuso's, where he took $200 from the register, a laptop and two bottles of whiskey, police said. He also attempted to break into an ATM machine at the restaurant, police said.
Remick was arraigned Friday and held on bonds totaling $105,000.
