Sean M. Burbank, 24, of Norwalk, was charged with sixth-degree larceny Saturday night after walking out of the Super Stop & Shop on Villa Avenue with $152 worth of unpaid groceries, police said.

Burbank told police after his arrest that he had been distracted while talking on his cell phone.

Police later learned that Burbank was wanted on a warrant for a failure-to-appear charge at Stamford Superior Court.

Burbank is scheduled to appear on the larceny charge Aug. 10 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
