Joseph P. Gallace, 48, of Cross Highway, was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call Monday night after an argument with his father at their home.
During the argument, police said Gallace took a phone from his father when he tried to call "911" and threw it against the wall. He left the house before officers arrived, and they located him a short time later at the Elks Club.
Bond was set at $2,500 bond and he was scheduled to have appeared on the charges Tuesday in Bridgeport Superior Court.
