Mary T. Farren of Groveland, Mass. and a former resident of the Fairfield area, died Feb. 27.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia. Later, she earned a master's in adult education from Boston University. She was a human resources executive throughout her career, most recently at Textron Systems as director of organizational learning, development and communication. She also served on the Groveland Planning Board for 10 years.

She enjoyed summers at Conway Beach on the New Hampshire coastline, as well as concerts at Tanglewood in summer, and visiting New York.

Survivors include former Fairfield resident Jill Kaner of Groveland, Mass.; a brother, Joseph Molloy and sister-in-law Mary of Valley Stream, N.Y.; a brother, Edwin Farren and sister-in-law Jerilyn of Hilton Head, S.C.; a sister, Elizabeth Mosseri and brother-in-law Lucien of Comer, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. March 4 in St. Patrick Church, 114 Center St., Groveland, Mass. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, Fairfield, at a later date.
