A Bridgeport man driving a car with a broken mirror, broken window and a cracked windshield was stopped by police Tuesday morning and arrested on several charges.
Andrew J. Bobko, 28, of Price Street, was pulled over around 10:30 a.m. on May Street because of the damaged condition of the car, which also had a broken turn signal.
According to police, Bobko appeared extremely nervous and at first gave a different name and date of birth.
When police ran a computer check on the name given, it came back to someone about 6 inches taller than Bobko.
Bobko had just left his girlfriend's house after an argument and police said she gave them his name.
He was charged with criminal impersonation, interfering with an officer, operating under suspension and failure to return his license. His bond was set at $1,000 and he is scheduled to appear April 12 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
