The Fairfield Spot, a new restaurant occupying the former space of Greenhouse Grill, will hold a grand opening at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, and resume 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24.

The restaurant at 12 Unquowa Place will mark the opening with music, games and prizes, face-painting, free food samples from its menu prepared by chef Nemat Odeh from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, before starting dinner service at 6 p.m.

Odeh has been named "Most Talented Chef in the Westchester Region" by the James Beard Foundation and won a gold medal for Team USA in the International Culinary Team Olympics.

Lunch is served 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Saturday, while dinner is served 5 to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday. Happy hour is 3 to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday. Brunch is offered 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. The lounge, which serves food until last call every day, is open until 1 a.m. Sunday to Thursday, 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
