Friends of Music at Pequot Library will host "Pythagoras: Trio-Quartet-Quintet, Part II," its first concert of the 2012-13 season, at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the library, 720 Pequot Ave.

The concert, given last spring by pianist Eugene Sirotkine and accompanying musicians, will include Bach's Two Preludes & Fugues for Piano; Beethoven's Trio for Piano, Violin & Cello in G major Op. 121a, "Kakadu Variations"; Schubert's String Quartet No. 12 in C minor D. 703; and Brahms' Quintet for Piano, 2 Violins, Viola & Cello in F minor Op. 34a.

In addition to Sirotkine, musicians will include Eugene Sirotkine, piano; Noah Bendix-Balgley and Cecee Pantikian, violin; David Harding, viola; and Mikhail Istomin, cello.

Tickets are $30. A discount of $5 per ticket is available for Pequot Library Association members at the Advocate ($100) level and above.
