Physician to discuss nutrition at Fairfield Library
The Fairfield Public Library Health Matters Series will host Dr. Robert Zembroski, founder of Cancer Victor -- Beyond Survival, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, in the Rotary Room of the main library, 1080 Old Post Road.
Zembroski will discuss the top three foods that potentially kill people by causing diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, autoimmune disorders, cancer, fatigue, digestive problems and chronic pain. He will also talk about which foods can help restore your health, according to a release from the library.
Zembroski is the director of the Darien Center for Integrative Medicine in Darien, where patients receive holistic health care, including functional medicine, pain relief, nutrition and stress management, the release states. Zembroski, a chiropractic neurologist certified by the American Chiropractic Neurology Board, is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and the New York Chiropractic College.
