The Agape Society will host its 16th annual A Day in the Sun event for special-needs people from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Roger Ludlowe Middle School field, 689 Unquowa Road.

The free rain-or-shine event, which will take place inside if it rains, will include games, music, prizes and food such as chili, hot dogs, hamburgers, soda, snacks and ice cream. Special-needs attendees must have escorts with health information and any required special foods.

Community volunteers will be on hand to help. Volunteers under 16 are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent.

Community members, including members from the police and fire departments and the Park City Council Knights of Columbus, will cook for the guests and play "after-lunch" bingo with them.
