FAIRFIELD — A Westport woman was charged with disorderly conduct early Sunday morning after she allegedly threw pizza at her husband, during an argument in their car.
Amber Llorens, 44, of Thomas Road, was released on a promise to appear in state Superior Court in Bridgeport on Jan. 8.
Police received a call around 1:44 a.m. from Westport police, who reported an alleged domestic violence incident that happened in Fairfield.
According to the report, Llorens and her husband had been at the SeaGrape earlier, celebrating a friend’s birthday. They left and went and got a pizza from Domino’s on the Post Road. While there, a friend of Llorens called and asked them to go back to the bar and pick up some belongings the friend left there.
That apparently started the argument, and the husband said while in the car, Llorens threw slices of the pizza they just bought at him. Police said there were several slices of pizza on the floor of the Land Rover.
At one point, Llorens said her husband tried to pull her out of the car in an “alley” in Fairfield, then said that happened in Westport, and ultimately said she could not remember.
