Police hunt for man accused of fondling teen after Fairfield fireworks

FAIRFIELD - Police are on the hunt for a man accused of fondling a teenage girl after Saturday night’s firework show.
Police say a 14-year-old girl reported an unknown adult male got into a selfie she was taking and touched her inappropriately over her clothes. The incident occurred in the Jennings Beach parking lot around 10:30 p.m. on the evening of July 2.
The Fairfield Police are asking the public for help in identifying the suspect. The man identified himself to the 14-year-old girl as “Hank,” but the police do not believe that is his real name.
