FAIRFIELD — Police are investigating another armed robbery, this time at a Stratfield Road gas station.

According to police, a man wielding a knife went into the Stratfield Mobil, 1271 Stratfield Road, around 9:49 p.m. Monday. He was wearing a hat and his face was covered and he demanded money from the cash register.

After getting the money, he left the store and ran south on Stratfield Road. The clerk was not injured.

The suspect is described as a short, stocky male, wearing a white head cover, and a black shirt wrapped around his nose and mouth. He was wearing a gray, long-sleeved Carhartt shirt, gray sweatpants, and black shoes.
