A car owned by an Osborne Place resident was broken into between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Reported missing were a $450 pair of prescription sunglasses, $20 in cash and a wallet holding three credit cards and a driver's license. The intruder reportedly tampered with the car's TomTom GPS, but did not take it.

The owner had left the car's driver-side window open and the doors unlocked, police said.

The police are investigating.
