Tickets have gone on sale for Fairfield College Preparatory School's annual $25,000 Tuition Raffle.

The $25,000 prize can be used for costs at any accredited kindergarten through grade 12 school, college or university located in the U.S.

Tickets are $100 each, and no more than 1,000 tickets will be sold, the school said in a news release. If fewer than 500 are sold, the raffle will be cancelled and each ticket holder will receive a full refund.

Net proceeds from the raffle benefit Prep's scholarship fund.

The drawing is scheduled for May 3 during the Fairfield Prep Spring Auction. The winner does not have to be present.

Winner of the 2013 raffle was Bill Newbauer, of Fairfield, a Prep alumnus and father of a member of the Class of 2016.

Raffle tickets may be purchased Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Fairfield Prep's development office, Room 112 of Xavier Hall. More information is available by emailing or calling 203-254-4237.
