A program designed to improve sales techniques in business will be offered Tuesday at the Fairfield Public Library.
The free program is set for 7 p.m. in the Rotary Room of the main library, corner of Old Post and Post roads. The program is co-sponsored by the Greater Bridgeport Chapter of SCORE, a nonprofit that helps small businesses through education and mentorship.
Jon Barb, who for more than 25 years has led training programs for businesses, will present the program. It is designed to give participants skills needed to sell products, services and ideas, according to library publicity. Areas to be covered will include “how to prepare for face-to-face interaction, how to probe, support, close, involve the client using style-matching techniques and follow-up,” the library said.
