Maureen Linder, of Fairfield, has been appointed a board member of the Fairfield County Community Foundation in Norwalk.

Linder is senior vice president of Fresh and Frozen Bakery at Pepperidge Farm, Campbell Soup Co. in Norwalk. Previously she oversaw global advertising and design at Campbell, according to a release.

A graduate of Purdue University, Linder received a master's degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

The foundation, having awarded $151 million in grants to nonprofits in Fairfield County and beyond, promotes the growth of community and regional philanthropy to improve the quality of life throughout Fairfield County, the release states.
