A dozen restaurants in Fairfield will offer discounted prices during the week after Thanksgiving as participants in an "Eating Fairfield" program held by The New England Culinary Group.

Eateries taking part in the program from Sunday, Nov. 27, through Friday, Dec. 2, will offer consumers discounted prices on fixed-price menus and special offers throughout the entire week, according to a release from the group.

Participating restaurants include Avellino's; 55 Degrees; Wine Bar & Restaurant; Bodega Taco Bar; Bonda; and The Brasserie. Other restaurants involved in the program are Fairfield Cheese Company; Martel; Old Post Tavern; Ponte Vecchio; Tabouli Grill; The Shack; and Vinny's Ale House.

In addition to the week-long event, the program will offer a 20 percent "Bounce Back Incentive," where patrons who dine at any participating restaurant during "Eating Fairfield" week will receive a 20-percent-off gift certificate at any participating establishment from Jan. 2 through 31, 2012, valid Sunday through Wednesday only.
