Ruth Collins Caruso Quiriconi, 75, of Monroe and a former Fairfield resident, wife of the late Frederick A. Caruso and the late Anthony J. Quiriconi, died May 19 in Bridgeport Hospital.

Born in Greenwich, she was the daughter of the late J. Fred and Mabel Collins. She graduated from Greenwich High School and Katharine Gibbs.

She worked as a trust administrator for Citytrust and later was the office administrator for Oak Lawn Cemetery Association in Fairfield. She was a past president of the Rosary Guild at Holy Family Church in Fairfield and a former member of the Fairfield Junior Women's Club, the Roger Ludlowe Parents Club and volunteered at the Thomas Merton House in Bridgeport.

Survivors include four children, Daniel F. Caruso of Fairfield, Frederick A. Caruso, Jr. and his wife Gale of Stratford, Michael P. Caruso and his wife Jill of Easton and Nancy E. Caruso of Ansonia; two stepdaughters, Diane Desjarlais and her husband Robert of Florida and Linda Chizmadia of Stratford; a brother, J. Fred Collins Jr. and his wife Susan of Stamford; grandchildren, Jennifer, Blake, Tyler, Michael, Matthew, Ava, Arabella, James, Dillon, Lisa, Robert, David, John and Kevin, and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, at St. Jude Church, Monroe. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road.
