The Fairfield Senior Center recently created its own Facebook page.

The page will give access to the center's newsletter, calendar of events, Lifelong Learner booklets and an upcoming survey, according to the center.

The center also plans on sending blast emails and may one day offer a blog, downloadable lectures, web-based programs and an iPad app, the center said.

Anyone who is at least 50 years old or has a disability may receive help learning to use email or Facebook or take computer classes at the center by calling 203-256-3166 Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 3:45 p.m.
