A series of cars were broken into one night last week.

A Green Acres Lane resident reported Wednesday that her car, which she said was locked, was entered and taken was a Louis Vuitton wallet, valued at $900, containing several credit cards, $160 in cash, and a pair of RayBan sunglasses, worth $175. She said she heard her dog barking around 4 a.m., but did not see or hear anything unusual. She also told police her car was entered sometime last summer, but nothing was taken. There were no signs of forced entry to the car.

Another car on Green Acres Lane was reportedly entered and rummaged through, but nothing appeared to be missing. The car was unlocked.

A Crestwood Road resident reported her unlocked car was entered sometime between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 6:30 a.m. Wednesday. Nothing was taken, but the car was rummaged through, according to the report.

On Thursday morning, a Park Avenue resident reported her unlocked car was entered overnight and the glove box pried open. Misssing is a $200 iPod. Damage to the glove box was estimated at $50.
