Kendra Lee Sloat and Jamieson Donald Dacey were married Oct. 6 at First Church Congregational in Fairfield.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Jody Sloat of Fairfield, and the bridegroom is the son of the Rev. Donald and Mary Dacey of Bradford, Vt., formerly of Fairfield.

A reception followed at Burr Mansion in Fairfield.

Jolene Sutter was matron of honor for her sister, and Jennifer Sloat was maid of honor. Elizabeth Blair Dacey, the bridegroom's sister, was bridesmaid.

Alastair Dacey was best man for his brother. Bruce Sloat, the bride's brother, and Richard Chu, Richard Folch and Aaron Keeler were groomsmen.

The bride holds a bachelor's degree in communications from Western Connecticut State University in Danbury. She is a deduction analyst with Unilever in Trumbull.

The bridegroom holds a certificate in piano technology from North Bennet Street School in Boston. He is a certified piano technician and independent private music teaching professional in piano, guitar, bass and voice in the tri-state area.

The couple resides in Trumbull.
