Brian Flynn, 22, of Groton, Mass., was arrested about 2 a.m. Sunday after a dispute with police officers outside the Seagrape Cafe, 1144 Reef Road, police said.
After the bar closed, police said they asked a large group of patrons assembled outside the entrance to disperse. Flynn, a Fairfield University student, was reportedly asked several times to leave the area, but did not comply.
Flynn was charged with breach of peace and interfering. He was released on $2,500 bond, and is scheduled to appear Feb. 15 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
