Talk on loneliness for disabled at senior center

The Fairfield Senior Center, 100 Mona Terrace, will sponsor a program titled "Lifting Loneliness and Healing Grief" 10 a.m. Thursday for Connecticut residents at least 50 years old and disabled persons.
Presenters Karen J. Chekas and Remi Kyek will give a one-hour presentation on learning how to overcome loneliness and create the kind of happiness that a person desires. They will also discuss the journey to healing that occurs after a loss. Participants will learn how to identify the stages of grief and learn how to cope with their grief.
Any Connecticut resident is welcome to attend the free program.
Fairfield residents may request transportation to and from the center by calling 203-256-3168. The center is handicapped accessible and persons who are disabled are always welcome.
