A pair of private-school educators will present a program on preparing children for kindergarten Thursday evening, Feb. 21, at the Fairfield Public Library.

The presentation is at 7 p.m. at the main branch, 1080 Old Post Road.

Debbie Sullinger and Bill Mulcahy of the Fairfield Country Day School will discuss skills children should have when entering kindergarten and how parents can help them be ready, the library said.

Sullinger does reading assessments in Fairfield Country Day's lower school and works with pre-K through third-grade teachers on all aspects of the curriculum. Mulcahy is head of the lower school at Fairfield Country Day School.
