A 16-year-old Fairfielder was charged with criminal trespass, breach of peace and interfering with an officer after an incident Tuesday night at the McDonald's restaurant on the Post Road.

The teen had been warned previously not to return to the restaurant after earlier incidents. According to the report, he went into the restaurant around 8 p.m. and began yelling at employees. Employees escorted him out of the building and detained him until police arrived. Police said he swore at them and began swinging his arms around in an attempt to get away.

He is scheduled to appear in juvenile court Nov. 13.
