Teens' YouTube video prompts call to cops
Several teenagers filming a YouTube video on Sturges Road near Mill Hill Terrace prompted a call to police about 7:45 p.m. Tuesday from a neighbor who thought the youths were brandishing a rifle.
Police determined the rifle was an unloaded BB gun, and a switchblade was a facsimile with a comb in place of the actual knife.
The teens told the officer they were making a video about the destruction of an S.A.T. book. They were told to keep the gun and knife out of the view of motorists and pedestrians, and were sent on their way.
